Whether you have a boy or a girl I am willing to bet most of you out there trip through a sea of little pets, Legos, superhero action figures, ponies, and similar items when walking through the kids room. I know I do, and sometimes I think they are trying to carpet the floor with dangerous spikey items just to keep me out! I am always searching for ways to corral the mess and when I saw this Ozzy drawstring playbag I knew right away that it was probably the answer to our problems with little toys.
Not only is this Ozzy playBag/playmat a great price point -only $24.47 right now with free shipping if you have Prime, but it is very large also- 60″, giving him plenty of play space for whatever villages, towns, or projects he wants to build or conquer. You can grab them in blue or pink for boys AND girls. They make a great gift if you want something to alleviate the clutter instead of adding to it. My kids have lots of toys, too many toys and we are on a mission to get rid of a large portion of them but some, the ones that are open ended and come out for imaginative play every day will stay- like his Lego’s. But, if you have ever walked across a bedroom carpeted in Lego you know how painful it can be and you know that somehow the mess must be tamed if your feet are to survive childhood!
Here is a little of what his room generally looks like
And here he is sitting in the midst of the mess, unable to find anything, uncovering little legos, army men, and action figures- frustrating for both of us.
Another feature I love about the Ozzy PlayBag is that when he is done all he has to do is grab the drawstring, pull up, and the it cinches up into a large drawstring bag which he hangs over the corner of his bed. Then when he is ready he just stretches it back out again for an instant playmat already loaded with toys.
I am planning on buying several in blue and pink for Christmas for other kids in the family I know could use it! What is your favorite little toy organizational tip?
